I wanted to surprise Kylee today.
I got there 10 minutes before her shift ended, at 2:50 PM.
The front desk ladies told me she was already done for the day.
I told them to tell Kylee that it was me ("my name").
One of them went into the back.
She came out a few minutes later and told me that Kylee had somewhere else to be.
So I was like, fair enough. I guess I should've let Kylee know I was coming.
I messaged Kylee that it was too bad I missed her, but I understood that she had other commitments.
Off I went on my bike, disappointed.
Well, about 30 minutes later Kylee gets back to me.
She says that no one told her I was there for her! And by this time, she's already on the train home.
The level of service and professionalism I am used to getting from Kylee is extremely high.
The way she handled this was no exception. It's always nice to interact with her. She knows just what to say.
The GFE front desk staff, though, appears to have dropped the ball.
It's a mystery what they were thinking.
